Not online? You can call us to make a payment over the phone on 0300 555 6666 (Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 8am-1pm).
When your rent is due
Your rent is paid in advance. You can choose to pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending on what works best for you.
Your tenancy agreement asks that your account stays one payment ahead to help you avoid arrears. If you are worried about keeping up, please contact us.You can pay by Direct Debit, online or by calling us.

Understanding your rent and charges

The government sets the rent social landlords like whg can charge, how rents should be reviewed and how much they can be increased each year.
Universal Credit
If you receive Universal Credit you will need to arrange your own rent payments. If you owe more than two months’ rent (or one month, if you have not paid your rent on time in the past) we can request rent payments on your behalf directly from your Universal Credit.
