We’re proud to have been recognised as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work in 2024 and 2025.
Our 2025 engagement survey indicated an 80% overall engagement (happiness) rating from colleagues. Our Employee Net Promoter Score of +46 tells us our people are strong advocates for whg, and that the culture we’re building together is working.
We don’t just ask for feedback, we use it to improve. Our results have strengthened year on year because we listen and act.
Over the last two years, colleague feedback has driven real change at whg – from launching organisation-wide leadership development programmes and introducing new recognition awards, to creating more opportunities for open dialogue through Executive Q&A sessions and regular business updates.
A sustainable future
At whg, sustainability isn’t an add-on, it’s central to how we work. From building and maintaining homes to supporting customers and colleagues, our aim is to create happy, healthy homes in thriving communities while protecting the planet.
We measure and report on our impact, from cutting carbon and protecting biodiversity, to building stronger communities and being transparent in how we run our business. More than 170 colleagues have completed carbon literacy training, embedding sustainability across our organisation.
We’ve been recognised as a sector leader, holding the Ritterwald Certified Sustainable Housing Label for three years in a row.
